About the program
This program is designed for participants who have completed foundational pistol training and want to build on that knowledge and skill.
Its core aim is to take existing skills to a more advanced level, to enable controlled and disciplined performance under varied conditions, and to develop foundational skills through advanced work.
The course combines classroom briefing with practical range work.

Prerequisites
Curriculum
- Reload drills
- Strong-hand and support-hand shooting
- Shooting in different directions
- Transitions on a single target
- Transitions between separate targets
- Multiple-target drills
- Use of cover and shooting from cover
Participation
Completion of Pistol Fundamentals Level 1 and 2, or equivalent training from another academy, is required.
Identity and legal eligibility checks are carried out before participation. Attendance takes place within the framework of applicable legislation and range rules.
Intended outcomes
By the end of the program, participants should have developed their foundational knowledge through more advanced application, and be able to perform in a controlled, disciplined and safe manner under varied working conditions.
